The Resolutions and Legislation Committee is the engine of advocacy where the voice of the enlisted force is transformed into decisive action.
Charged with identifying critical issues, shaping impactful resolutions, and driving legislative change at both the state and national levels, the committee ensures that every concern, challenge, and opportunity facing our service members is not only heard but acted upon.
We actively engage with state and federal lawmakers for policies that directly impact the New York National Guard. This includes:
- Pay, benefits, and retirement reform
- Healthcare access and TRICARE improvements
- Education benefits and GI Bill protections
- Civilian employer support
- Readiness, training, and quality of life issues

what you need to know
before you submit
Your proposal must include:
- A clear problem statement.
- Who is affected (states, personnel, components).
- Background and justification. Recommended solution.
- Supporting data or references

- Complete the EANY Resolution Submission Form.
- Submit supporting documentation (optional but encouraged.)
- Receive confirmation and tracking.
- Review by the Resolutions & Legislative Committee.
- Presented for state-level consideration.
- Potential elevation to EANGUS national conference.
