About Us

The Enlisted Association of the New York National Guard (EANYNG) is a registered 501(c) non-profit organization, representing all Soldiers and Airmen in the New York National Guard.

EANYNG is one of fifty-four State and Territory chapters, along with one national chapter. We stand as the sole military service organization dedicated to representing the enlisted men and women of the National Guard, veterans, retirees, and their families at institutions like Capitol Hill, the Pentagon, and other governmental organizations.

VISION: To become the leading professional Association, enhancing the lives of enlisted National Guard members, veterans, and their families.

MISSION: To champion, safeguard, and elevate the status, well-being, and professionalism of enlisted National Guard members, veterans, retirees, and their families through legislation, employment, education, emergency resources, and collaborations.

WHY WE EXIST: As an advocacy entity, EANGUS is positioned to address issues pertinent to the National Guard without being bound by the President’s Budget Proposal or Administration priorities.

The Anti-lobbying Act (18 USC 1913) restricts the use of Federal funds for grassroots lobbying activities, including direct public contact with Congress regarding legislation or appropriations. Fiscal Law upholds this stance.

We are dedicated to representing our members and to initiating or endorsing legislation that offers additional state-specific benefits.
